Richard graduated in 2009 from The University of Liverpool, establishing Sanderson Vet in 2016. Richard holds certificates in Small Animal Practice (CertAVP(SAP)), Small Animal Surgery (GPCertSAS) and the FECAVA Certificate in Anaesthesia and Analgesia. Richard is a RCVS Advanced Practitioner which is an official recognition of a vets particular knowledge and skills in their designated field. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Law, awarded by LJMU. He is a Fear-Free Certified Professional, having committed to offering science-based, behaviour-led strategies to prevent and reduce fear, anxiety and stress in pets, and is one of the practice’s Rabbit Advocate.

Richard is able to issue travel documentation (OV + OV66). Richard also holds a series of additional qualifications;
