Sanderson Vet Rated Outstanding in All Six RCVS Practice Standards Scheme Awards

Sanderson Vet, the only independent 24/7 RCVS Accredited Veterinary Hospital on the Wirral, has been rated Outstanding in all six awards it was assessed for under the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) Awards. Outstanding is the very highest rating a practice can receive.

We recently underwent further voluntary assessment for the prestigious RCVS PSS Awards Scheme, and we’re delighted to share our results. We received:

About the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme Awards

The RCVS Practice Standards Scheme is a voluntary accreditation scheme run by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, the regulator for the veterinary professions in the UK. Accredited practices are assessed every four years against standards covering clinical care, medicines, health and safety and more.

The PSS Awards go a step further. Accredited practices can choose to be assessed in specific areas of excellence, and each award is rated either Good or Outstanding. The Environmental Sustainability Award recognises practices that have built sustainable behaviours into every part of their work, something we take seriously as an Investors in the Environment accredited practice.
