At Sanderson Vet we are able to investigate and manage a range of heart conditions in dogs and cats. Heart problems are sometimes picked up during routine checks, such as when a heart murmur is heard, but they can also show up as symptoms like coughing, breathing changes or reduced exercise tolerance.

We have equipment including Doppler echocardiography (heart scanning), ECG, blood pressure monitoring and Holter monitoring to help us assess heart function and rhythm. These tests allow us to diagnose many cardiac conditions and decide on the most appropriate treatment or monitoring plan for your pet.
